It is also the deepest shelf here: 291 planned lessons, more than any other subject in the library, running unbroken from a Year 7 student's first look at the ancient world to the HSC Modern History examination.

Hassan Nanai
I am a History teacher first. It is the subject I have taught longest and built deepest: 29 units and 291 lessons, from the ancient world through to HSC Modern History. The other eight subjects here grew out of the same method, taught across more than seven years in thirteen NSW high schools, every kind of classroom, every kind of timetable. That breadth is why these materials work anywhere. They were built to be picked up by any teacher, in any school, and taught well on day one.
Before teaching, I completed three qualifications in software development and worked across seven programming languages, from Java, JavaScript and .NET to C++, C# and the web stack. I build curriculum the way I once shipped software: structured, documented, tested, and complete.
This library is the result: a full secondary programme, from Year 7 Do Nows to HSC Modern History, written, formatted and syllabus mapped by one teacher who believes planning is the craft.
